Over the years, Momentum has led the charge in dynamic canopy flocking. This fall, we’re taking that progression to the mountains of Bex, Switzerland, hosted by Skydive Flying Devils. We’ll start by refining team-focused flying in the valley, then move into two epic mountain descents—each offering a unique line and unforgettable view of the Rhône Alps.
This camp allows participants to learn more about the mountain environment, approaching the mountain as a team and then make flights down sections of various mountains.
Camp format:
- Limited to 8 slots (if we have enough interest we can expand to 16)
- 4 days (Thursday 4 September - Sunday 7 September)
- Welcome dinner on Wednesday 3 September
- Expect to make 16-20 jumps throughout the 4 camp days.
- During the camp we will provide fresh local lunches to all participants
- Camp will be organized by Matt Leonard and Max Manow
- Cost for the camp: $995
- Jump tickets will have an extra surcharge of 15CHF to cover logistics of transportation and landing fees as well as coach slots.
- NO Cancellations or Refunds. (Transfers are acceptable with prior approval from Momentum Instructor)
Requirements:
- Prior flocking experience, this is not a beginner camp. We will check your references.
- Desired WL between 2.0 - 2.9
- Crossbraced wing, sub 100 sqft
- Must demonstrate the ability to approach a high performance canopy safely and stable
- Must demonstrate the ability to maintain quadrant specific slot.
- Must be disciplined about break off as well as understand landing order & separation
